Return & Refund Policies
We want you to love your Simple Alchemy Co. products. If for any reason you’re not completely with your purchase, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order to arrange for a refund, or exchange for a different item.
Refunds & Exchanges:
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your package. We’ll gladly offer a replacement or refund.
If you change your mind, you may request a refund or exchange within 14 days of delivery. The product must be unused, unopened, and in its original compostable packaging.
Because our products are handmade, vegan, and cruelty-free, and made with natural ingredients, we cannot accept returns on opened or used items for hygiene and safety reasons.

Processing Time:
Once we receive your return, please allow up to 7 business days for processing your refund.
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
Shipping Costs:
Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product was damaged or incorrect.
Product Variations:
We make everything by hand using natural ingredients. Variations in appearance are to be expected, and do not have any impact on quality or performance.
Soaps: we use all natural colorants (no synthetic micas or dyes), so differences in color may occur.
Balms + Deodorants: while we do our absolute best to formulate our recipes to be able to withstand heat and temperature fluctuations, we can't control the weather. Products may soften in high heat, and the consistency can alter as it cools back down. Relief Balm in particular can become grainy in texture if the temperature swings too much. This does not negatively impact quality or performance.

Thank you for supporting sustainable, handmade products! Here’s what to expect when you order from Simple Alchemy Co.
Order Processing Time:
We carefully craft and pack your order by hand, so please allow 5-7 business days for order processing before shipping.
Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Time:
We ship most orders via USPS and UPS, with standard delivery typically taking 3–7 business days within the continental U.S. Most often we make postal runs on Tuesdays and Fridays, but that is subject to change.
Expedited shipping options are available at checkout for faster delivery.
International shipping is available to select countries—delivery times and rates vary. Orders outside N America are most often shipped via Global Post Plus.
Sustainability Commitment:
All orders are shipped in compostable and recycled packaging materials to minimize environmental impact. Shipping labels are curbside recyclable, as are our packing tape, box filler and postcards. Branded stickers are home compostable. Every order is Carbon Offset (yes, we know carbon offsetting is far from perfect. We do our best to reduce waste while ensuring your products arrive safely.
Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order weight.
We offer free shipping on orders over $65 USD.
Order Tracking:
Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number to follow your package’s journey.
Address Accuracy:
Please ensure your shipping address is correct and complete at checkout. We are not responsible for lost or delayed packages due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
Local Porch Pickup:
We have a front porch for local pick-up orders. This option is great for Newberg and Newberg-adjacent customers. If selected, you'll receive an email with instructions. Once you let us know approximately when you can come by, we place your order out for contact-less pick-up. This system is in place to minimize the length of time your order sits outside, as prolonged exposure to temperature changes can affect the consistency of our products.
