What is intersectional environmentalism?
“This is an inclusive version of environmentalism that advocates for both the protection of people and the planet.
It identifies the ways in which injustices happening to marginalized communities and the earth are interconnected.
It brings injustices done to the most vulnerable communities, and the earth, to the forefront and does not minimize or silence social inequality.
Intersectional environmentalism advocates for justice for people + the planet.”

We would all be nowhere without the hardworking people behind the products we use. Therefore we source our ingredients exclusively from companies who treat their employees fairly. We do deep research on all our suppliers, and source US made products as often as possible. This lowers our carbon footprint, and allows us to keep better track of the conditions in which our materials are produced.

We love animals. Loooooooove them. Simple Alchemy Co is both PETA and Leaping Bunny Certified. We were shocked that there weren’t more sustainable AND plant-based home & body products available. That’s why we made a commitment to make sure every product we ever create is certified vegan and cruelty-free. We make everything slowly, preserving as many whole-plant benefits as possible.

We are proudly
Queer/Disabled/LatinX Owned
We are a wife+wife team based in the Pacific Northwest. We fell in love (and came out) in our early thirties, after nearly a decade of friendship. We believe in radical, intersectional equality. It’s our dream to grow as a company, and expand our team to include other BIPOC and LGBTQ+ employees.
